Fans React to Black Ops 6 cheaters kicking players out of game

Call of Duty cheaters are now spotted kicking players out of a live-match leaving community doubtful over Ricochet anti-cheat team. Check out full clip.

Cheaters and Hackers have been the biggest issue in Call of Duty games and despite repeated complaints regarding hackers in Black Ops 6, Team Ricochet has not been able to do anything. If players think blatant cheating is an issue, a new type of cheat allows hackers to kick everyone out of an ongoing match.

Posted by ItsHapa on X (Twitter), the short clip showcased a person using cheats to kick players out of the match by simply selecting the name and toggling through some options. While this isn’t new to Call of Duty games, this is possibly the first time people are watching these cheats return in Black Ops 6.

This comes after people found out that cheaters can exploit the game to mass report a regular player and get them banned in Black Ops 6. As per the hackers, they were doing it for a long time and only got caught because a popular streamer got banned.

Call of Duty fans losing hope in anti-cheat team

Black Ops 6 recently received a massive season 2 update with a ton of content. Ahead of that, the Ricochet anti-cheat team reassured players that they were working to reduce the hackers as much as possible and even pushed a major kernel update to Ricochet.

Sadly, days after the update, players are facing even stronger hackers who don’t even need to move to try and win. This severely reduces the confidence of players in the developers which they aren’t shy of expressing in public. Here’s what the player had to say -

Consoles may be the only way to play Black Ops 6

The only thing that players praised was the ability to turn off crossplay for console players. While consoles like Xbox and PS5 do have cheaters using hardware like Cronus and XIM to use keyboard and mouse, blatant cheating like aimbots and kicking players mid-game isn’t common.
