It’s no surprise that Call of Duty has a cheater/hacker problems, and the issue has been raised over and over by the community. Once again, the players are asking the devs to fix the anti-cheat, however, console players are simply demanding to disable the crossplay feature that matches them with people playing on PC.

CoD gamers aren’t the only ones suffering from a cheating problem, in fact, most online games have cheaters ruining the fun of others. Sadly, the majority of cheaters originate from PC, which explains the reason why console players want crossplay disabled.

Frustrated by the problem, popular CoD content creator ModernWarzone posted that crossplay should be disabled until this issue is resolved or minimized, asking the devs to take action. Unsurprisingly, a lot of people stood up in his support, expressing similar views.

“I have said this for 5 years. PC and console should not be playing together. Cheating has ruined Warzone,” one user said, while another followed up saying, “Console players should be able to crossplay with other console players and not be forced to play with PC players.”

Call of Duty should learn from other esports games

Another popular CoD news outlet wrote about how grim the current situation is for Black Ops 6 and Warzone players compared to other games. While games like Fortnite are getting some huge collab, millions of players every day and still manage to keep the hackers at bay, why isn’t CoD able to do the same they asked?

Other games like Valorant has also been very successful in keeping the cheaters away using a kernel-level anti-cheat. What’s even more embarrassing as per CoD players is that Ricochet ant-cheat is also kernel level but have seemingly no impact on the problem.

Activision or CoD developers are yet to address this issue, but fans aren’t very hopeful as the same issue has been raised many times and died down without any solution from the company.
