It has been nine months since the first trailer for GTA 6 was released and there has been no news regarding the game. The most recent leaks have suggests that the delay is likely due to Sony’s upcoming PS5 Pro console. Rumours regarding a marketing deal with Sony and Rockstar Games have now surfaced before the new GTA 6 Trailer drops.
This started after popular Rockstar Games informer on X, @videotechuk_ said that the company might be holding out for PS5 Pro release before dropping another trailer. It is also likely that the new trailer will also be a PS5 Pro gameplay to further promote the console.
Furthermore, with a massive leak occurring before the official release of the trailer, Rockstar also has a good reason to cut all communications and talk about the game.
Should be. I have a big feeling Rockstar is holding out for Sony to reveal the console so they can include ‘Captured on PS5 Pro’ for the next trailer. They have a marketing deal with Sony it seems, again.

PS5 Pro announcement imminent
It is no secret that PS5 Pro is coming. There was also a teaser in the 30th-anniversary blog where Sony sneaked in a new PlayStation design resembling PS5 Pro. In terms of power, the PlayStation has always been stronger than Xbox and the new Pro edition will surely be selling like hotcakes in the market as players would want GTA 6 running of the highest quality.

A new trailer might be coming even sooner, as the leaks regarding PS5 Pro suggests that the console will be revealed during the upcoming Tokyo Games Show this month. In the meantime, GTA fans has been passing time giving their through on what they want to see in GTA 6.
While surprising, after the recent events with the Black Myth Wukong exclusivity controversy, it’s not hard to believe there might be a lot going on behind the scenes. Regardless of the reasoning, fans should get another look at GTA 6 very soon.
