A Pirates of the Caribbean x Fortnite collab featuring some of the most iconic characters like Captain Jack Sparrow was in talks and now players got a first look at the crossover, but just for a little while. Epic Games seemingly took down the collab shortly after it went live.

The crossover was supposed to come on later but was accidentally made available in the store. Many fans have missed the accidental release window, however, those who were lucky enough to log in at the right time were able to purchase the bundle and share everything with the Fortnite community.

Pirates of the Caribbean - Cursed Sails pass details

The new collab will be coming with an event pass featuring various rewards, with Captain Jack Sparrow being the main focus. Along with Captain Jack, the collab will also bring other characters from the Dead Man’s Chest’s cast including Davy Jones, Captain Barbossa, and Elizabeth Swann as character skins.

There will also be cosmetics for harvesters, emotes and other things in the mix. The aforementioned characters will also be available across the map as NPCs for quests coming with the event, along with new crossover items across the map. The Pirates of the Caribbean x Fortnite collab is reportedly landing next month on July 18th as per popular leaker HYPEX. A video showcasing all the cosmetics was also uploaded.

Players who got their hands on the event pass were able to buy the pass for 1000 V-Bucks and while Epic Games have now delisted the Cursed Sails pass, those who purchased it can use the skins unlocked as usual and will likely receive the pass to progress when it officially launches.
