Diablo 4 to become first Microsoft game to receive PS5 Pro Enhancement

Diablo 4 is now revealed to be the first entry by Microsoft to receive PS5 Pro Enhancement. The news was confirmed by SVP of Blizzard, Rod Fergusson, in his recent tweet. This will also include the upcoming expansion for the game ‘Vessel of Hatred’ making it one of the games that were revealed to be taking full advantage of PS5 Pro.

“I've been getting this question quite a bit recently, and I'm happy to say that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced! Very proud of our hardworking team to make this happen. More details at a later date,” Fergusson said.

Diablo 4 was already available on PS5 as the game launched back in 2023, before Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, regardless of that, the game would have made it to PlayStation anyway with Microsoft now putting off their games across multiple platforms.

PS5 Pro provides a decent visual upgrade

The PS5 Pro was revealed last month and is set to launch in November. Featuring some decent upgrades, players can now play the game with better visuals without the cost of fps reduction. The console feels like a decent upgrade for those who want both fps and visuals but also comes with a $700 price tag.

Speaking of the console, Sony recently revealed the limited edition classic collection for both consoles and as expected, they went out of stock real quick. The regular PS5 Pro, however, was still available. Of course, most of the people who recently got a PS5 will likely not upgrade soon, considering the hefty price tag.
