CoD Black Ops 6 beta revealed to be the most successful CoD beta by Activision

Black Ops 6 open beta concluded on September 10 and players who experienced the multiplayer with new Omnimovement have mostly praised Treyarch. Fast-forward a day and the reports are in, with Activision now reporting that Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta is the most successful beta in the history of CoD games.

In a thank you post to the community from the official CoD account, the devs wrote, “The dev team at Treyarch is going through all the data and feedback to make the launch even better. There’s so much more to come on October 25th”.

This comes as a massive success to the developers and solid proof of how popular the game will be with its full release on October 25. However, there were little things that bothered many players, these included some network issues, broken spawns during matches and other small things.

However, the beta was conducted to identify these issues and try to solve them before the release. A lot of improvement was already done during the two beta. The network issues were minimal in the open beta after player complaints in the closed beta. The broken spawn, however, still remains something to be perfected.

CoD going back to its roots

The game will also bring classic round-based zombies on launch and while there are some changes, it is much better than the open-world abomination players had to deal with in the Modern Warfare 3. A streamlined progression is also on its way, revealing that the developers are ready to go back to their roots and modernize the mechanics to make the game feel good for everyone.

As for the campaign, the Black Ops campaign have been one of the core features of the series. Black Ops Cold War was highly praised and fans are expecting the same this time around.
