A lot more coming to Counter-Strike 2
As per Gabe Follower, multiple recent changes to the backend have hinted towards a new operation. The last operation was released back in 2021 and since then, players have been asking for a new one. Alongside that, another leaker named Aquarius claimed that there was a new case at work.
Apart from these, there are also hits regarding keychains, possible cosmetics pet chickens and new maps namely, Thera (Santorini), Memento, Assembly, Pool Day and Mills. If true, the upcoming update will likely be the biggest Counter Strike update players have received since its release.
While a new operation and case is something many would expect, keychains are something brand new. By the looks of it, they will likely be available in a separate capsule, similar to stickers. New operator skins might be common with an operation, but entire customization will also be something new. However, what’s hard to believe is the new chicken pets, as it is unknown how this will work out if introduced in future.

The previous content update introduced the Kilowatt case alongside Arms Race game mode with new maps. Apart from that, other updates have only been bug fixes and balance changes and not much focused towards content.
All of these leakers have been quite reliable. Previous leaks regarding Valve’s new game have currently seemed to be subsided, but the company did file a trademark for the name ‘Deadlock’ meaning Valve might be cooking something.
