COR-45 Handgun disabled Photograph: (Activision)
The COR-45 Handgun is restricted by Call of Duty developers inside Warzone due to another bug making the pistol into a powerful SMG. This isn’t the first time the weapon was put in sidelines, due to player finding glitches that would completely make other weapons obsolete. At the moment, it’s unknown when the weapon will return.
A similar glitch that resulted in high fire rate also happened back in July due to its conversion kit, which resulted in the weapon temporarily restricted for some time. What’s fascinating is another glitch allowed players to turn the weapon into dual welding Akimbo weapons, which warranted another restriction.
The announcement came via official Call of Duty account, which revealed that COR-45 is disabled in Warzone with no further explanation. This problem child for Activision was introduced with Modern Warfare 3 and was quite popular among the players.

The COR-45 handgun has been restricted until further notice.
Since it is Holiday season, it is unlikely that the exploit will be fixed at the moment, so players will have to grind the double XP without their trusty sidearm. There were a lot of different reactions to the devs disabling the weapon yet again.

Fans criticize Call of Duty for cheating problem
With how fast the devs disable the sidearm, the Call of Duty community was left stunned and complained that the glitched sidearm was taking more priority over the cheating problem. Many asked the devs to also ‘restrict cheaters’ like they do with bugs and glitches.
Cheaters have reportedly found various methods to bypass the Ricochet anti-cheat, which keeps banning innocent players in return. Some players are now getting shadowbanned due to mass reporting which lands them in cheaters lobby, a thing which was done to match hackers against other hackers in Call of Duty.
