COD Warzone Mobile specs to increase soon (Image - Activision)
If the performance for COD Warzone Mobile wasn’t already painful for most gamers, Activision is now set to increase the minimum requirement very soon. This comes due to the upcoming Black Ops 6 Season 1 set to launch on November 14 and is done to meet the ‘high standards of performance’ by the company.
In the official announcement, Activision revealed that the new minimum specifications require at least iOS 17 or Android 13 paired with a GPU capable of bindless texturing. Those who do not meet this specification will not be able to update or download the game.
“We’ve been heads down working on the latest shared features like Omnimovement and connected content coming with BO6/WZ S1 and beyond, plus exciting QOL updates. With these innovative improvements and meaningful technical advancements coming to mobile, we’re going to be updating our minimum specifications,” the company wrote.

What does the increased requirement mean?
For starters, most low and many mid-range devices will become incompatible with the game. Those who have the game installed will still be able to play the current 3.10 update till May 5, 2025. However, beyond that, the servers will shut down. Another thing to note is that uninstalling the game will prevent players from installing version 3.10 again or the update unless they have a compatible device.
As compensation, players will receive the Epic Operator ‘Ghost Stealth’ and Legendary M4 ‘Black Gold Royal’ inside COD Mobile. All the COD Points in their account will also be migrated to CODM. These rewards will be available when logging in to CODM through the same Activision account.

All of these listed GPU does not support bindless texturing and will not be able to run COD Warzone Mobile even if they meet the OS or RAM requirement.
