Black Myth: Wukong physical release date revealed (Image - Game Science)
One of the biggest video game releases of this year, Black Myth: Wukong is soon getting a Physical release for the PS5. The game was released back in August but was only available digitally, but many players wanted to own physical discs for collection and preservation. Thankfully, they will now be able to do so as the Physical edition will be available in December.
The developer of Black Myth: Wukong, Game Science, partnered with PM Studios to launch physical copies of the game. As per the official announcement, the physical disc for PS5 will be available starting December 12, 2024.

What’s even better is that the game will be completely on disc, with no internet requirement for installation and play. This is a very important aspect and probably the biggest advantage of physical games, as they are usually not dependent on an internet connection for players to have a fun time.
The announcement for the physical edition was done way back, with the pre-order opening on October 21. Those interested can still pre-order the game ahead of its physical release, which is currently priced at $61.

Xbox release also coming soon?
Black Myth: Wukong was released on PC and PS5, but the Xbox version was delayed. This was earlier termed due to Xbox limitation but as per the official statements given by Microsoft to Paul Tassi on Forbes, the delay was not due to console limitation and the company refused to comment on the deal made by the publisher hinting at an exclusive dead with PlayStation.
Now the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has released a rating for Black Myth: Wukong, hinting that the game might be coming to the Xbox console soon. Since the physical disc is now available, fans can see its availability on launch.
