Team Asobi has surprised fans with iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist ‘Ezio’ in the current round of challenge levels of Astro Bot. The character was previously teased in the credits making fans wonder when he will make an appearance. The challenge levels were not what they expected, but then again, no one expected the devs to keep adding stuff.
Ezio makes several appearances throughout many Assassin’s Creed games, books, and films, be it in person or simply mentioned. The character is so popular that there is a dedicated Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection featuring all games and DLCs where he has made an appearance.
Challenge Levels are done but there may be more
The Challenge Levels for Astro Bot were announced back in February with Ezio being the final addition for now. Fans were surprised to see the developers updating the games with more levels, but that’s something many already expected from a game like this.
Post-launch updates for Astro Bot were also highly praised, after all, not many provide so much high-quality free content. For now, the challenge levels are done, however, fans believe that there might be something else the devs are planning.

Astro Bot remains unmatched
Astro Bot blew away the competition last year to win the Game of The Year award and the race for it wasn’t tough with games like Metaphor: Refantazio, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Black Myth: Wukong, Balatro, even Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree was present following some changes to the rules. The game also went on to win several other GOTY awards and became the most-awarded platformer.
The game also brings some iconic characters from popular franchises. While a few games like Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, and others are missing due to the publisher’s choice, fans were happy to see references to the games they grew up playing.
