Apex Legends Leaks ; Quads mode reportedly coming soon?

The latest leaks have once again brought up the conversation of Quads mode in Apex Legends after a popular leaker on X, HYPERMYSTx, posted that the new game mode will be available this month itself. As per the post, the new mode will be available on June 25th.

However, the post also reveals that the new mode will be taking away another game mode, Solos, which recently made an entry as a temporary mode removing duos. Fans have mixed feelings on the matter, as many of them ant to try this mode but are also fond of the Solos mode.

No official confirmation for Apex Legends Quads

The Quads mode is currently unconfirmed by the developers and has previously never been added. Apex Legends do have a squad mode, however, it only allows up to three players in a team compared to other Esports titles which allow four or more players to team up.

This is because a team of four can cause some serious trouble. Fighting against four players with various abilities in a fast-paced Battle Royale game can be a real nightmare, even for a team of three. It is very likely that this new game mode if announced or released, will be a temporary mode.

Players want Apex Solos to stay

Fans, however, are quite stumped with this leak as it might also remove the Solos mode which was quite popular among the players. The game mode was re-introduced with season 21 and allows players to run free and play how they want without worrying about any teammates.

Most of them suggested keeping both of the modes, however, this might not be possible. The developers have previously explained that modes thin out the player base and increase matchmaking time, which is the reason for the removal of Duos with the introduction of Solos.

While the players may be sceptical regarding the Quads mode, it might turn out to be chaotic fun similar to the arcade game modes with some intense fire-fights among multiple teams.
