Activision has introduced a new cosmetic bundle ‘LA Fire Relief’ inside Black Ops 6 and Warzone to help the Los Angeles Fire Department with their ongoing efforts towards wildfire relief. Featuring a character skin along with weapon camo, all proceeds from sales will go towards the LA Fire Department. The bundle costs 2400 CoD Points or $20.

“In the wake of devastating fires in Los Angeles impacting our friends, colleagues, and residents in Southern California, we're adding the LA Fire Relief pack to Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone. 100% of Activision’s proceeds from purchases of the LA Fire Relief pack will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and Direct Relief,” Activision wrote.

This comes soon after Riot Games also announced a fundraise inside Valorant and League of Legends. Similar to the Balck Ops 6 LA Fire Relief bundle, Riot Games also plans to support organisations aiding in natural disaster recovery in Southern California via the ‘Riot Games Social Impact Fund.’.

Activision to donate an additional $1 million from their pocket

Apart from the cosmetic bundle, which will also be a community effort, Activision is also donating an additional million to the LAFD Foundation and Direct Relief. “As a company with roots deeply tied to the LA area, our hearts go out to our friends, colleagues, and residents impacted by the devastating fires,” the company added.

The community is also appreciating the effort by the company and calling the bundle the only thing worth getting in the game for now. For a while, the Call of Duty community has been frustrated with the increasing number of cheaters.

While the anti-cheat team has reported that many of these were banned, the numbers do not seem to be going down. Recently, the development team announced console players will be able to turn off crossplay starting the upcoming Black Ops 6 Season 2.
