Zak Crawley wasted time in the last over of Day 3 of the Lord's Testagainst Jasprit Bumrah, as he took more time than he should have to face the Indian bowler, as part of the strategy to minimize the number of overs to be bowled at the end of the day. His act led to frustration among the Indian fielders, the skipper, and Bumrah.

India was undone for 387 in their first innings at 10:45 PM (IST), and the English batters should have padded up and been on the pitch by 10:50 PM (IST). However, Duckett and Crawley delayed their entry to the pitch by default, which already frustrated the Indians. Additionally, Crawley took more time to face the first ball of the over.

In the second ball of the over, Crawley fetched two runs. When Bumrah was on his run-up for the third ball, Crawley moved away citing the reason of improper visibility. By then, the frustration had already grown among the Indians. Bumrah could not help but just smile at the antics of the English batter.

The Indian skipper was clearly frustrated with Crawley and had a go at him. He also had a go at Duckett, who came for his teammate's support. Things heated up in the middle, and the Indian fielders replied with a sarcastic clap, as if to appreciate Crawley's acting. It had set the right platform for the two sides for Day 4.
