KL Rahul broke many records as he joined the Lord's honors board for the second time in his career by scoring a hundred in the first innings of the Lord's Test in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025. Rahul became the Indian opener with the most Test hundreds in England and surpassed Virender Sehwag to score the second most runs in Tests in SENA conditions among the Indian openers.

Apart from him, nine other Indian batters made it to the Lord's honors board. The first of them was Vinoo Mankad in 1952, who is the only Indian to be on the Lord's honors board both as a batter and as a bowler. In the 1970s, Gundappa Viswanath and Dilip Vengsarkar joined the list. By 1986, the latter became the first and only Indian to date to feature thrice in the list.

In the 1990s, Ravi Shastri, Mohammad Azharuddin, and Sourav Ganguly featured in the list. In the 21st century, the likes of Ajit Agarkar, Rahul Dravid, and Ajinkya Rahane made it to the honors board, apart from Rahul. Vinoo Mankad's 184 in 1952 remains the highest score for an Indian batter at the Home of Cricket.
