"This is the field India needed for Travis Head... #AUSvIND," wrote Michael Vaughan as he posted the image of fans flocking into the stadium. The Southpaw was able to create a massive impact on the game with his sensational hundred. Head won the Player of the Match award in Adelaide.

On a wicket that had a lot for the bowlers, Head was the difference between the two sides. In his stay in the middle, the star batter scored 140 runs on 141 balls, which included 17 fours and 4 sixes. By the time he was dismissed by Mohammed Siraj, the game had drifted away a lot from India.

Australia dominates the second Test against India

Head's Knock has been regarded highly by the fans and experts. A major reason behind Australia's comfortable win was Head's innings that took the game away from the visiting side. India batted first and posted 180 runs on the board.

Mitchell Starc bowled well and claimed 6/48 in his spell of 14.1 overs. In reply to it, Australia posted 337 runs, which handed them a lead of 157 runs. A majority of the lead was possible due to Head's knock. In the second inning, Indian batters could not put enough runs on the board.

No Indian batter managed to score over 50 runs in any of the two innings in the Pink Ball Test. Pat Cummins shined with the ball in the second inning by claiming 5/57 in his 14 overs. Australia comfortably chased a total of 19 runs by 10 wickets. Head claimed it to be a special week during the press conference.
