Travis Head opened up on his heated moment with Mohammed Siraj during the press conference after the completion of the D/N Pink Ball Test in Adelaide. Head claimed himself and Siraj to be sweet and felt they were fine to get along together. He said the duo sorted out the misunderstanding between each other and are set to move on.
Head revealed that Mohammed Siraj spoke to him after the match about the moment. He said Siraj accepted the misunderstanding between the two. Head felt it was not ideal to ruin Australia's great week. "Sweet with it. He came out and just said [it was] a little bit of misunderstanding," said Head.
"I think we'll move on. We've had a great week, so let's not let it ruin it," Travis Head revealed. Siraj dismissed Head for 140 (141) in the first innings. Following the dismissal, a frustrated Siraj gave an aggressive sendoff to Head. It did not go well with the Australian batter, who seemed to have said something that did not go well with Siraj.
'I definitely swore at you the second time around' - Travis Head
The Indian pacer thought Travis swore at him. Head revealed Siraj had thought he swore at the Indian bowler at the first instance. He claimed to have confirmed to have sworn on the second instance. "It was fine. He said, 'Why'd you swear?' I said, 'Look, I didn't at first. I definitely swore at you the second time around," added Head.
The world-class batter regretted having a miscommunication with Siraj. He confirmed that the duo had a misunderstanding with each other. Travis claimed to move on from the issue and regarded himself and Siraj as sweet ending the controversy. His statement has now gone viral on social media.
"I probably could have laughed it off and walked off and enjoyed myself. He just said it was a misunderstanding as well, and there were no issues for me. We move on. I'm sweet. It is what it is," claimed Head in his statement in the press conference.
