It is going to be a hectic Thursday for the Indian Cricket Team after their return home. The T20 World Cup winners have reached Mumbai after meeting Indian PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Wankhede Stadium is the last stop for the day as the Indian team will be seen parading the title that they won by beating South Africa in the finals.
There is massive happy news for the fans who want to witness the event live at the stadium. The Mumbai Cricket Association has said that the entire celebration will be free of cost. This would mean that the fans do not have to pay any entry fees to watch Rohit Sharma and the team parading the title.
Indian team members hopped onto a flight as soon as they met the Indian PM and made their way to Mumbai. There is a special open bus parade waiting at the iconic Marine Drive before heading to the Wankhede Stadium.

Mumbai Cricket Association makes massive announcement
The Mumbai Cricket Association secretary Ajinkya Naik announced that the entry for the victory parade will be free. The entire event is set to begin at 5:00 PM Indian time and will go on for a few hours. There is set to be a felicitation ceremony for the members of the champion Indian side.
Ajinkya Naik while speaking to the media agency ANI said “MCA has made preparations for the public. Under the guidance of Mumbai Police and BCCI, we are going to give free entry to the public on first come first preference...We had a meeting with Mumbai Police yesterday. MCA has kept the maximum police force. It is a proud moment for MCA and the country and we are very excited to welcome the Indian team today.”
Jitendra Awhad who is a member of the Mumbai Cricket Association said, “They are going to be welcomed at the land of Cricket, Mumbai. Not only in Mumbai, but cricket is also a religion throughout India.”
Rohit Sharma on Wednesday took to his social media platform X and wrote, “We want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let's celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive and Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards.”
