Here's what Wasim Jaffer said about India's spin combination

In the same line of events, Jaffer also revealed the reason why India can’t be playing Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav together in the playing XI against Australia in their last super-8 fixture.

“India cannot play Kuldeep and Chahal together because that would make their tail longer. Even though Jadeja is a bit out of form with the ball, he is an experienced campaigner. The ball will turn and so you will play Kuldeep, Jadeja and Axar which will also give you batting depth, which is crucial in T20 cricket. You can only play one of Kuldeep or Chahal,” said Jaffer in a video on his YouTube channel.

Furthermore, the former Test batter also expressed his opinion about the mindset of Rohit Sharma-led Team India in the knockout stage of the major ICC tournaments.

“They have to play the same fearless brand of cricket that they have been playing and shouldn't fall back on their defensive game. They should take the game on and begin with a positive mindset and only then I feel they will win this T20 trophy,” he said.

Notably, India are coming unbeaten so far in the tournament with 5 wins in the 6 games they have played so far, including one match getting washed out.
