In the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025, Indian openers were off to a great start, with Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma looking in terrific form. However, Rohit lost his wicket while batting on 41 runs. Bangladesh batters were brilliant in the first innings as they scored 228 runs after being reduced to 35-5 in the powerplay. While all the games are equally important for all the teams, India will look to win the game and have a brilliant start to the tournament.

Jaker Ali and Towhid Hridoy were outstanding with the bat. While Ali scored a half-century, Hridoy scored a terrific century towards the end of the game. India's bowling department was magical with the ball, with Mohammed Shami taking a fifer. It seems like Shami owns the ICC tournaments. Harshit Rana and Axar Patel were good too.

Mohammed Shami's brilliant bowling stops Bangladesh from scoring runs in Champions Trophy 2025

India's star bowler Mohammed Shami made a magical comeback in the Champions Trophy 2025 after being away from international cricket for quite a long time. He claimed a fifer in the first game of the tournament, helping India make a brilliant comeback in the game. He also drew the first blood for India by taking two quick wickets at the start of the innings.

Bangladesh batters did well in the middle overs, but as soon as he returned, he claimed three wickets, dismantling the batting attack. India have to chase down 229 runs in their first game to get a good start in the tournament.
