Ravindra Jadeja became the fourth cricketer to score over 4000 runs and claim over 300 wickets in Tests. Kapil Dev, Ian Botham, and Daniel Vettori had reached the milestone before Jadeja got there during the Kolkata Test 2025 against South Africa.
Kapil is the only cricketer to achieve the double of over 5000 runs and over 400 wickets in the longest format of the game. The former Indian skipper played 131 matches in Tests and scored 5248 runs. He also claimed 434 wickets, which was the most for a Test bowler at the time of his retirement.

Ian Botham became the second cricketer to achieve the unique double of scoring over 4000 runs and claiming over 300 wickets in Tests. The former English All-rounder played 102 matches, scored 5200 runs, and took 383 wickets. He is well-known for his heroics in the Ashes in 1981, which England won at home against Australia.

Daniel Vettori became the first spin-bowling All-rounder to achieve the feat of scoring over 4000 runs and claiming over 300 wickets in Tests. The former Kiwi All-rounder played 113 matches, scored 4531 runs, and took 362 wickets. To date, he remains one of the most underrated All-rounders in the longest format of the game.

Jadeja recently joined the elite league of All-rounders. In the Kolkata 2025 Test against South Africa, the veteran surpassed the milestone of over 4000 runs. In the process, he became the fourth player to achieve the unique double. The only player who could join the league in the future is Ben Stokes, who currently has 7032 runs and 230 wickets in Tests.
