After India won the T20 World Cup 2024, the official handle of NBA India took to Instagram and reposted the video in which the Indian captain greeted the trophy on a funny note. After India won the World Cup, the wishes have been pouring from different parts of the world. There have been wishes for the Indian team from different sports.
As a part of the promotion of the sport in the USA, there was a calculative move from the ICC to integrate different sports. In 2023, India came close to winning the ODI WC but lost to Australia in the final. But they have got the redemption in 2024 after beating South Africa to win the T20 World Cup.
