Whether playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) or the Indian national squad, Rohit Sharma has participated in several high-pressure games. The fact that the former Indian Test captain has won most of those matches repeatedly is evidence of his great bravery and self-belief.
With the exception of the World Test Championship (WTC) and the 50-over World Cup, Rohit has won nearly every trophy possible while leading his IPL squad and the national team. He may have a chance to win the ODI World Cup in 2027, but his sudden withdrawal from the longest format in May means he has no chance of winning the latter.
Despite his career's ups and downs, his wife Ritika Sajdeh, whom he views as his lucky charm, appears to have been the one constant in his life. The former Indian cricket player Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra's YouTube chat show, Who's The Boss?, featured the Indian captain and Ritika, his wife.
"I asked Ritika so many times, how do you manage this because it's incredibly tough to sit like that through the entire match with that finger. She's deeply involved in my game, she wants me to do well, she's my lucky charm, she's my biggest supporter," he said.

Ritika supports Rohit Sharma from stand
Rohit Sharma disclosed that Ritika was the one who helped him stay composed and gave him the will to win fiercely contested games. Ritika has been seen in the stands at nearly every game in which Rohit has played, demonstrating that his statements are accurate. She has consistently supported the Indian talisman; in 2017, following a significant victory over Sri Lanka, Rohit was seen kissing the wedding band on his index finger to dedicate a century to her.
