Mayank Yadav, one of the most exciting pace bowlers in Indian Cricket, has constantly suffered from injuries. The express pacer thanked the LSG Management for backing him despite suffering from injuries constantly since he debuted in the IPL in 2024. Mayank claimed that LSG's owner, Sanjiv Goenka, has been highly supportive of him in his stint in LSG so far.
Mayank was in an interview with the Times of India, where he opened up on the support he has gotten in LSG. The emerging pacer noted how he has been prone to injuries in the last few IPL seasons, but has received great backing from the management.

"I am thankful that despite all the setbacks due to injuries in the last 2-3 seasons, LSG is backing me, the team, and the owner has been with me always, both on & off the field. Dr Sanjiv Goenka gave me confidence that he is there whenever I need it or whatever I need in my life," Mayank said in the interview.
Mayank Yadav's IPL and India career, so far
The right-arm pacer made his IPL debut in 2024 and made a sudden impact. The right-arm pacer claimed 7 wickets in 4 matches, at an average of 12.14, at a strike rate of 10.43, and an economy rate of 6.99 in a season where the bowlers were smashed all over the park.

He didn't play a lot of matches owing to an injury midway through the season. However, Mayank got an India call-up and even played three T20Is, where he claimed 4 wickets, at an average of 20.75 and an economy of 6.92. In the IPL 2025, he played just 2 matches and claimed as many wickets.
