List of all Head Coaches in IPL 2026 ft. Stephen Fleming

• For the IPL 2026, some of the existing coaches like Andy Flower, Ricky Ponting, Stephen Fleming, and Ashish Nehra were retained
• Likewise, Mahela Jayawardene, Hemang Badani, Justin Langer, and Daniel Vettori will continue to be the Head Coaches of their teams
• Kumar Sangakkara and Abhishek Nayar have been appointed as the new Head Coaches of RR and KKR, respectively

For the IPL 2026, some of the existing coaches like Andy Flower, Ricky Ponting, Stephen Fleming, and Ashish Nehra were retained. Likewise, Mahela Jayawardene, Hemang Badani, Justin Langer, and Daniel Vettori will continue to be the Head Coaches of their teams. Kumar Sangakkara and Abhishek Nayar have been appointed as the new Head Coaches of RR and KKR, respectively.

Flower has had tremendous achievements with RCB, helping them to qualify for the playoffs in 2024 and win their maiden title in 2025. Ponting helped Punjab Kings qualify for their first final in the IPL in 2025 since 2014. Badani will continue to be the Head Coach of Delhi Capitals in 2026.

Stephen Fleming will extend his incredible time as the longest Head Coach of any franchise, as he'll continue to be with CSK. Ashish Nehra, who helped the Gujarat Titans win the IPL on debut in 2022 and make it to the playoffs in 2023 and 2025, will continue to be their Head Coach in 2026.

New Head Coaches of teams in the IPL 2026

Jayawardene's long association with the Mumbai Indians will continue, as he will continue to be their Head Coach in 2026. Likewise, Justin Langer and Daniel Vettori will continue to be the Head Coaches of Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad, respectively.

Two teams have announced new Head Coaches for the IPL 2026. While Kumar Sangakkara has replaced Rahul Dravid as RR's Head Coach, Abhishek Nayar has been promoted as the new Head Coach of KKR after being their Assistant Coach in 2025. All teams have confirmed their coaching and support staff for the 19th edition of the league.
