KL Rahul likely to make debut for Delhi Capitals against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025

KL Rahul had to miss the Delhi Capitals' inaugural game of IPL 2025 since he recently became a parent. However, Axar Patel's side stepped up the pressure and defeated Rishabh Pant's Lucknow Super Giants in a spectacular win. KL Rahul, a batsman and wicketkeeper for the Delhi Capitals (DC), is expected to make a comeback on Sunday, March 30, when the DC play Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). 

Due to the birth of his first child, KL Rahul was unable to play in the Delhi Capitals IPL season opener against the Lucknow Super Giants. On Monday, his wife, Athiya Shetty, gave birth to a daughter. At last year's IPL 2025 mega auction, KL Rahul was picked by the Delhi Capitals for Rs. 14 crores. 

The addition of KL Rahul to the team has strengthened them even more, and the Delhi Capitals will be hoping to maintain the momentum in the upcoming game. The players can be seen enjoying the team dinner in the Delhi Capitals' most recent video, which also shows a positive atmosphere at the camp.

KL Following the birth of his child, Rahul is wearing all black and appears to be in a really happy mood. He even made fun of team coach Kevin Pietersen with his humorous antics, and he dazzled with his ramp walk. Rahul joined DC after leaving the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), as the Delhi-based team paid an incredible INR 14 crore to get the veteran. As previously stated, DC's next game is scheduled for Saturday afternoon against Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are led by Travis Head. With a strong start, both teams will want to maintain their winning streak of 100 percent.
