KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty blessed with a baby girl

The star Indian wicket-keeper, KL Rahul, and bollywood actress Athiya Shetty are blessed with a baby girl on Monday, 24th March, 2025. The happy couple took to their social media accounts to jointly announce their good news.

The star Indian cricketer had missed the first match of the Delhi Capitals against Lucknow SuperGiants, at the ACA International Cricket Stadium. Owing to this, the star batter flew back to Mumbai on Sunday. The couple had announced their pregnancy on 8th November, 2024, now welcoming the little one to the happy family. Throughout the pregnancy, the couple maintained a relatively low profile, showing glimpses of their journey with their fans. Several celebrities from Bollywood and the cricketing world have shared their warm wishes congratulating the new parents.

KL Rahul to play match against SRH

KL Rahul was supposed to debut for the new IPL franchise Delhi Capitals, but has been rescheduled as the fans are left disappointed and waiting to see KL Rahul in a new attire. The cricketer has been granted permission from the Delhi Capitals team to fly back to his wife and is expected to be back on March 30, where DC is going to face SRH. KL Rahul’s batting line-up for the team is extremely crucial this season for DC. 

Delhi Capitals have won the toss against Lucknow SuperGiants and have chosen to bat first. LSG has set a target of 209, which the DC team are aiming to chase.
