BCCI has come up with a massive match fee as a boost to the Indian players who will be taking part in the IPL. Jay Shah released a statement in which he confirmed that the players will be rewarded for being a part of the biggest cricket league. The BCCI Secretary announced that a player would get a match fee of INR 7.5 lakhs per game as additional benefits.
Jay Shah took to X and wrote that the historic move has been initiated to celebrate the consistency and the outstanding performances of the champion cricketers in the league. He wrote that the players taking part in a single match of an IPL will get a match fees of INR 7.5 lakhs.

"In a historic move to celebrate consistency and champion outstanding performances in the IPL, we are thrilled to introduce a match fee of INR 7.5 lakhs per game for our cricketers!" wrote Shah on X. He further added that the players taking part in all the league stage matches will get an additional amount of INR 1.05 crores.

"A cricketer playing all league matches in a season will get Rs. 1.05 crores in addition to his contracted amount," added Jay in the statement. The BCCI has been lauded by the fans for its efforts to honor the players in the form of the money. They felt it was a good initiative to help the players.
The upcoming ICC President claimed that the IPL franchises are involved in the initiative as well. He confirmed that the franchises would allocate a money of INR 12.60 crores from their part for the match fees. He concluded by claiming it to be the new era of IPL for the players.
"Each franchise will allocate INR 12.60 crores as match fees for the season! This is a new era for the IPL and our players!" Shah concluded in his statement. The latest announcement might have showed how much the BCCI as a board cares for its players.
