IND vs SA: India wins in Ahmedabad, clinches series 3-1 (X)

India beat South Africa in the fifth T20I of the 2025 series by 30 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to win the series 3-1. After the match in Lucknow was called off, India continued its winning run. While South Africa won in Mullanpur in the second T20I, India won in Cuttack, Dharamshala in the first and third T20Is, respectively.
In the first T20I, India batted first and posted 175/6 on the board. In reply to it, South Africa was dismissed for just 74, which is their lowest total in T20Is. As a result, India claimed a massive won of 101 runs in Cuttack.

The visiting side bounced back quickly to level the series 1-1. Batting first in Mullanpur, South Africa posted 213/4 on the board. India was dismissed for just 162 runs, as Proteas claimed a massive win of 51 runs. The action moved to Dharamshala where the third T20I was scheduled to take place.
India clinch the series against South Africa 3-1
The Indian bowlers had a field day yet again, as they dismissed the visiting side for just 117. Chasing it was not a problem at all, as the hosts completed the target in 15.5 overs to claim a 7-wicket win and a lead of 2-1 with two matches to go.

The fourth T20I in Lucknow was called off due to bad playing conditions, courtesy fog. In the fifth T20I in Ahmedabad, India batted first and posted a big total of 231/5 on the board. Chasing it, South Africa was 120/1 at one point, from where they collapsed to 201/8. India won by 30 runs and clinched the series 3-1.
