The ICC CEO claimed that the focus is to make the tickets affordable for all types of fans.

Opening up on the ticket pricing, Sanjog claimed that the starting price of a ticket is at INR 100, while special tickets are also available starting from the price of INR 1000. He pointed at it as ICC's strategy of making the tickets more affordable for all types of fans to watch the tournament.

The ICC CEO claimed that the initiative has been taken to invite millions of fans to watch the event and make cricket truly a globally celebrated sport. He noted that the focus is to ensure the fans get great experience of watching match live at an affordable cost.

"We are putting affordability at the centre of our strategy," - ICC CEO

Ahead of the second T20I of the 2025 series between India and South Africa, the tickets for the major tournament was opened. The T20 World Cup 2026 will start on the 7th of February and India will take on the USA in the inaugural match.
