England started their day from 77/3, only to be reduced to 84/5, thanks to a double strike from Mohammed Siraj. It was the only good period for India in the entire first session of Day 3, as Smith and Brook launched a counterattack on the Indian bowlers. Both pacers and spinners were clueless, as they had no response to the duo.
