Indian players dominated the latest ICC rankings in ODIs and T20Is after the end of the series between Pakistan and the West Indies. As of the second week of August 2025, India is ranked first in both ODIs and T20Is. The top 2 batters in both ODIs and T20Is are from India, while several others feature in the top 15 of several departments.

India is head and shoulders above all ODI teams with 124 points. The second best in the ranking are New Zealand and Australia with 109 points each. In T20Is, India has 271 points, while Australia isn't too far with 266 points. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are ranked 10th and 15th in the best ODI All-rounders.

Hardik Pandya is the No. 1-ranked T20I All-rounder, while Axar and Abhishek Sharma are in the 11th and 15th spots, respectively. Kuldeep Yadav is the second-best ODI bowler in the world, while Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj are ranked 9th, 14th, and 15th, respectively. 

Indian batters dominate ODI and T20I rankings in August 2025

In T20Is, India's highest-ranked bowler is Varun Chakravarthy with a rating of 706 points in the fourth position. Arshdeep Singh and Axar also feature in the rankings in the 9th and 14th spots, respectively. In batting, India absolutely dominates both ODI and T20I rankings.

Shubman Gill and Abhishek are the top-ranked ODI and T20I batters with 784 and 829 points, respectively. Rohit Sharma and Tilak Varma are the second-ranked ODI and T20I batters, respectively. Virat, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul are ranked 4th, 8th, and 15th in ODIs, respectively. Suryakumar Yadav and Yashasvi Jaiswal are ranked 6th and 11th in T20Is, respectively.
