The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is hosting the inaugural edition of the 2024 Champions ODI Cup. The revamped domestic 50-over tournament began on Thursday, September 12 and will conclude on September 29 in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

In the tournament opener, Mohammad Rizwan-led Wolves is locking horns with Shadab Khan’s Panthers. Saud Shakeel’s Dolphins, Shaheen Afridi’s Lions and Mohammad Haris’ Stallions are the other three teams participating in the 14-match competition.

While all four teams are led by Pakistan's current top players, it is notable that former all-format captain Babar Azam will be playing under Haris for Stallions. The PCB has ensured maximum participation of Pakistan's top players as no international matches coincide with their event.

When and where to watch Champions One-Day Cup 2024?

The Champions One-Day Cup 2024 kicked off on September 12 and will conclude with the final on September 29. All the matches will start at 3:30 PM IST (3:00 PM local time).

In Pakistan, the matches can be watched on PTV Sports, A Sports HD, and GEO Super. The tournament will also be live-streamed on the Tamasha, Tampad and Myco platforms.

However, in India, there will be no telecast of the Champions One-Day Cup 2024 on any TV channel. Meanwhile, the live-streaming details are yet to be revealed by the PCB.

Champions One-Day Cup format and team mentors

The tournament will be played in a single round-robin format. All five teams will face each other, with the top four advancing to the playoffs.

The first 10 matches will be played in the league stage followed by Qualifier and Eliminator 1 on September 24 and 25 respectively. Eliminator 2 will be held on September 27 and the final on September 29 at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
