Pakistan's new advisor, Waqar Younis, spoke at the press conference about the changes that will be made in the upcoming cricketing season. The team is distorted and full of loop hopes due to controversies. Hence, the newly formed advisory is looking into the matter and is planning on picking up 4 to 5 important people who can create change in the team environment.

"We will appoint five legends to head the teams and I am already in touch with some of them. We'll soon announce the names of those who will help advance the sport. I fully support this concept and hope it succeeds. Cricket remains our product, and we have to play good cricket to maintain our brand. All rest comes later," said Waqar Younis.

Pakistan's condition isn't good in the cricket world, as they are suffering from an internal crisis, which isn't good for the team. The team couldn't even qualify for the Super 8 in the T20 World Cup 2024, which was a huge shame. Moreover, they'll have to give their best and win matches if they want to qualify for the upcoming WTC finals.

Cricket's current state is clear: improvements are necessary: Waqar Younis

Waqar Younis was quite clear about the fact that the Pakistan Cricket team is going through a time of crisis and is looking for a solution. He spoke up about the improvements required and who will be involved in this process. However, everything will be revealed after some time.

"Cricket's current state is clear: improvements are necessary. While stadiums are important, our focus should be on enhancing the quality of play. Involving renowned cricketers and legends in the process is crucial. The Chairman's idea to involve these figures is excellent, and we've discussed it with some legends," he added.
