The final game of the Border Gavaskar Series has reached the famous Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The series has come to its finale with Australia needing to draw the game to secure the series and win the BGT for the first time in a decade. For India there is a lot riding on the game with Rohit Sharma’s captaincy Test and career on the line. Team India also have to win the game to keep their flimsy hopes of making it to the WTC finals alive. 

Australia (AUS) began the series with a loss in Perth before winning the next match in Adelaide. The third game of the series was a draw in Brisbane followed by the massive heist that saw Pat Cummins and his side win the game in Melbourne by 184 runs. Mitchell Marsh has been dropped for the game and this has given Beau Webster a chance to finally make his Test debut. 

India (IND) on the other hand are struggling with their batting. The form displayed by Rohit Sharma has been beyond miserable with just 31 runs so far in this series. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 82 and 84 during the MCG Test match to show his amazing form. The likes of Virat Kohli too will be under the lens after yet again falling to the outside off stump line. Pacer Akash Deep is out of the game as confirmed by Gautam Gambhir due to stiff back.
