WATCH: Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant along with Team USA stars struggle to spin basketballs on their fingers

Over the holiday weekend, the USA Basketball men's team met in Las Vegas for a four-day training camp. The squad exercised together and completed a variety of additional secretarial tasks such as signing autographs and photographing for promotional materials. During individual picture shoots, the NBA came across some really entertaining footage by asking players whether they could spin a basketball on their fingers. 

Even though spinning a ball on a finger might seem like a very easy exercise, many team members couldn't do it. As soon as the video starts, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry acknowledges he can't spin a basketball on his fingers. Curry later stated in the video that he is "embarrassed" because he is unable to do so despite being one of the sport's best shooters and ball-handlers.

LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers' star, has also admitted that he is unable to complete the work. James makes a try, but the ball does not appear to remain on his finger for long. Tyrese Haliburton and Joel Embiid are similarly unable to spin a ball, and they received some criticism from teammate Kevin Durant for it. Durant joked that Embiid's inability to execute the accomplishment was "sickening."

Anthony Davis succeeded at the famed basketball trick

While it may come as a surprise that some players are unable to spin a ball, several players performed exceptionally well throughout the photo session. Boston Celtics player Jrue Holiday is unquestionably the greatest at it, as he appeared to be able to spin the ball on his finger with ease. 

Despite the fact that some of his colleagues doubted his ability, Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis succeeded at the famed basketball trick. It's quite amusing to observe that some of the NBA's best players can't complete a task that some may deem straightforward. Meanwhile USA will face France in the Olympics men’s basketball final for gold medal match.
