LeBron James and the USA men's basketball team had challenges in the Olympic semifinal, but they prevailed to move on to play France for the gold medal. James scored 36 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help Team USA overcome Serbia 95–91. Stephen Curry also had 36 points.

At the Olympics, LeBron James became the fourth player in history to record a triple-double with ten assists, twelve rebounds, and sixteen points. Curry led all American players competing in these games in points scored. James convened a team meeting in the middle of the court after the team's close victory. Even though he knew there was still work to be done, he responded to winning the semifinal match in an honest manner.

With the help of a few fan accounts, a video recording of James's message to the USA went viral on social media, receiving over 4 million views. Fans like 39-year-old James for his leadership qualities, and he's one of the oldest men's basketball players participating in the Olympics.

As per Pink Viila, LeBron James also praised two players in particular: Curry and Joel Embiid. "One more... one f---ing more," James said. "We knew we'd be tested in this f---ing competition. Mothaf----n Chef and Joe, you mfs carried us tonight. "One more God---it."

LeBron James delivered a critical effort to clinch a gold medal

After sweeping their first four games of the 2024 Olympics with ease, the star-studded USA men's basketball team got a fright in their semifinal matchup against Serbia and three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic on Thursday. By the end of the third quarter, the squad was down 13 points and had fallen by as much as 17 points.

Serbia led for more than 35 minutes of play, but the U.S. squad pulled off a stunning comeback just when it counted most. After outscoring Serbia 32–15 in the last quarter, Team USA took the lead for good with a 3-pointer from Stephen Curry with 2:24 remaining in the 95–91 triumph.

Stephen Curry had his best performance in a USA jersey, scoring 36 points, just short of Carmelo Anthony's American Olympic men's basketball record. LeBron James delivered a critical effort, and the United States relied on contributions from virtually all players to clinch a gold medal over host France on Saturday.
