The Friday night's game between the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever is crucial and might have postseason ramifications. But Shaquille O'Neal, the NBA superstar, stole the show before tipoff because of his attire. In a brightly colored shirt and sunglasses, O'Neal was seen on the sidelines before Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark took the floor. He also wore a large necklace bearing a symbol of a crown.

It's commonly known that O'Neal has been Angel Reese's mentor since her undergraduate days. Their shared experience as students at LSU has allowed them to stay in touch. In observance of Reese, the former NBA player is at the game on Friday night to witness Reese take against Clark on "Barbie Night" in Chicago.

Looking like Ken, the former NBA great arrived at the Sky-Fever game. Either way, Shaquille O'Neal's presence to see Reese and Clark made WNBA fans pleased. He even arrived for the game in a great manner. O'Neal was seen driving a stylish SUV as he entered the venue. O'Neal can be seen interacting with supporters in the video before sitting down.

Seeing an NBA icon back Reese and the WNBA is cool. Over the years, he has been an advocate for women's sports. O'Neal stated that he would want to see WNBA players paid more like their male NBA counterparts during a live interview during Friday night's game, according to Timeout Sports.

Caitlin Clark and Angele competing for WNBA Rookie of the Year award

Having said that, more people are watching the WNBA. Since they first became aware of women's basketball during their undergraduate years, Reese and Clark have had a significant impact on that. Reese's game average this season is 13.3 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. Reese will shatter the WNBA rookie record for most rebounds in a single season if she can get 11 rebounds against the Fever.

Caitlin Clark, meanwhile, has been unstoppable for the majority of the season. Averaging 18.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game, the Fever standout is quite the player. Her rookie marks for the most assists and three-pointers made in a season have also been surpassed by her in the WNBA. With the regular season coming to an end, both Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are contenders for Rookie of the Year. Both the Sky and the Fever are also very much in the running for a postseason berth.
