Following an unsatisfactory 1-4 five-game road trip, the Los Angeles Lakers have returned home and will try to bounce back when they play the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
Before the game started LeBron James decided to have a little fun and show off his improved long-range shooting skills before Friday's game. While warming up at Crypto.com Arena, the 39-year-old had a nothing-but-net shot from the opponent's free-throw line that nearly filled the floor. This shot has gone viral.

Last season, James made a career-high 41% from beyond the arc. He just finished Wednesday's defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies with a season-high 39 points and a 6-of-11 shooting percentage. Los Angeles Lakers are playing against the Philadelphia 76ers, another team dealing with its issues when they return home on Friday night. The Sixers had a 1-6 start to the season.
LeBron James to surpass two more records of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
During their recent five-game road trip, the Los Angeles Lakers had few answers, despite LeBron James continuing to dominate the stat sheet. After losing their four previous games against the Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles only managed one victory, defeating the Toronto Raptors 131-125. Due to a contusion on his heel, Anthony Davis did not play against Memphis.
LeBron James is about to surpass two more records of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar this season. The NBA records for most minutes played (57,446) and most games played in both the regular season and the playoffs (1,797) are presently held by Abdul-Jabbar. But with 1,779 games overall, LeBron is getting closer just 18 games less than Abdul-Jabbar's total. He is fewer than 1,000 minutes behind Jabbar with 56,598 minutes played.
