In a post-game interview, star players Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo expressed their unhappiness with the team's collective effort, despite their great individual efforts. He admitted that the Knicks were a capable team, but by contrasting them with earlier dominant teams, he showed disrespect. There are encouraging indications in the growing on-court connection between Lillard and Antetokounmpo despite the defeats.

Damian Lillard, an eight-time NBA All-Star, is accustomed to spectacular performances and situations. When the Bucks played the Celtics on Sunday, he demonstrated once more his ability to produce great plays. Lillard made a three-pointer over Celtics center Al Horford with one second remaining on the shot clock. The off-balance shot was ultimately sunk by him.

Only their third victory in 10 games is what the struggling Bucks are aiming for. Giannis Antetokounmpo made a comeback during the game
