Milwaukee Bucks will be missing their two greatest players in Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, as they trail the series 2-1. Milwaukee Bucks announced early Sunday that Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo will both be sidelined for the critical clash.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss his sixth consecutive game due to calf discomfort, which he has had since April 10. Lillard's Achilles injury deteriorated late in Game 3 on Friday night, and he was seen using a walking boot on Saturday. Head coach Doc Rivers informed reporters on Saturday that the organisation was waiting for the findings of an MRI before ruling Lillard out Sunday.

The injuries put Milwaukee Bucks at a huge disadvantage two days after dropping a 121-118 Game 3 overtime thriller to the Pacers, giving them a 2-1 series lead. Lillard suffered an injury late in regulation and did not score in overtime despite continuing to play. Tyrese Haliburton, a Pacers All-Star, scored the game-winning shot on an and-1 floater with 1.1 seconds left in overtime.

Milwaukee Bucks struggled without Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard averaged 24.3 points and seven assists during the regular season and increased his productivity in the playoffs with Antetokounmpo out. Lillard averaged 32.3 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in the first three games, shooting 44.4% on 12 3-pointers.

Milwaukee has struggled this season without Lillard. They went 1-8 in regular season games in which he did not play. He finished with 28 points and eight assists, but just two points in the last ten minutes, both from free throws. It is uncertain when Lillard or Antetokounmpo will be able to play again.

Doc Rivers informed reporters that the club was awaiting MRI findings before making a judgment on Lillard's condition, but that things were "not looking good."

Milwaukee Bucks is hoping to square the series against Indiana Pacers and prevent a second consecutive first-round elimination in the playoffs.
