Indiana Fever beat the Los Angeles Sparks 93-86 on Wednesday night. Caitlin Clark finished with a double-double for the second time in her career with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. She also was able to script history as the WNBA's fastest player to shoot 100 3-pointers in a season.

Caitlin Clark's second 3-pointer of the game and her 100th of the season came in around the halfway mark of the third quarter. She finished 4 of 10 from long range with two more to bring her total to 102. Together with Alyssa Thomas, Courtney Williams, Sabrina Ionescu, and Candace Parker, she also became the fifth player in WNBA history and the first rookie to record three triple-doubles in a season.

Supporting Clark during their September 4 game against the Sparks was Connor McCaffery, the rookie's boyfriend. As an assistant with the Indiana Pacers, McCaffery is unable to attend every game that Clark plays, but since the NBA's summer season ended, he has established himself as a fixture. On Wednesday night, McCaffery's appearance at Gainbridge Fieldhouse attracted attention since he was seated courtside close to Tyrese Haliburton, a standout player for the Pacers.
