Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark take on the Los Angeles Sparks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday to begin a six-game home series. They'll also want to win another game to extend their winning run to four games. Due to defeats by the Chicago Sky and the Atlanta Dream, the Fever officially secured a postseason berth less than twenty-four hours before the game. The Fever are currently competing to get seeds.

Even with a postseason berth assured, Caitlin Clark never ceases to astound supporters. Against the Sparks, with 32 seconds remaining in the first quarter, the former Iowa Hawkeyes standout unleashed a stunning move that we had never seen from her before. With around 100,000 views across all postings, the highlight is quickly becoming viral.

She took a stride back and hit a fadeaway shot off one foot over a defender for two points as Clark was driving to her left towards the hoop on the baseline. This move is reminiscent of the signature move of former Dallas Mavericks player Dirk Nowitzki, who gained notoriety for his one-legged fadeaway.

Indiana Fever qualified for WNBA playoffs

Although Clark is well-known for her playmaking and long-range three-pointers, the rest of the WNBA may have more problems if she starts using a consistent mid-range move like this one. The game's second and 100th three-pointer of the season was made by Clark with 6:06 remaining in the third quarter. By accomplishing this in just 34 games, she became the WNBA's quickest player to achieve 100 threes. Clark has accomplished another first for the league: he is the first player to achieve 200 assists and 100 three-pointers in a single season.

For the first time since 2016, Clark has guided Indiana Fever to the WNBA playoffs. After winning six of their first seven games after the Olympic break, Indiana also boasts its first winning record in more than five years. In addition to her already extensive background, Clark's achievements in August won her two Rookie of the Week titles, the Rookie of the Month title, and her first Player of the Month award.
