Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever face one of the greatest teams in the WNBA on Saturday. They face the Minnesota Lynx at the Target Center, hoping to extend their winning streak to three games. Clark generated a lot of excitement on social media during their game versus Minnesota when she demonstrated her ball-handling abilities.
Clark was guarded by Courtney Williams on an attacking play in the first half of the game when she forced the Lynx veteran to hit the floor. Williams bit into Clark's hesitant shot attempt after he attempted a snatchback dribble.
When Clark passed her to drive to the basket, the WNBA veteran stumbled because she was not paying attention to the action. Throughout the play, Clark demonstrates her poise by leveraging Williams' hand check against her and demonstrating her ability to halt and turn quickly to elude the defender.

She leads all rookies in both scoring and assists per game, and she leads the WNBA in average assists with 17.8 points and 8.3 assists right now. It should come as no surprise that Caitlin Clark became the first player to record 500 points and 200 assists in their rookie season, as well as the fastest player in WNBA history, given her incredible rookie campaign.
Despite the setback, Indiana Fever have improved dramatically since last season. Indiana ended 13-27 last year, and it has already matched that record after 29 games, sitting at 13-16 on the season. The Fever are also in an excellent position to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016, as they sit seventh in the WNBA rankings.
Clark has become recognized as one of the top players in the WNBA because of performances like these. Clark has already created history this season, and he added to it on Saturday. She hopes to shatter more records this season and help her squad to the playoffs.
