WATCH: 40 ft 'swish' trick shot shot by Luka from stands, leaves fans amazed

After his pregame warm-up, Luka Doncic always tries a shot close to the tunnel. Before Thursday's game between the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets, Doncic made a spectacular trick shot that ended up in the net.  He appears to be attempting something new all the time and is a huge basketball fan. However, Doncic made one of his most memorable shots of the season on Thursday.

Dallas Mavericks have a 3-1 record after Doncic's strong start to the 2024–25 campaign. Naturally, Klay Thompson, Doncic's new teammate, has made things easier. Kyrie Irving is still a superstar, too.  Luka had an average of 26.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game going into Thursday night's matchup. Naturally, the sample size is limited to four games. Despite missing the whole preseason due to a calf ailment, Doncic is eager to play.

Luka Doncic has produced several incredible shots throughout games

At the moment, Doncic is maybe the best player in the NBA. He can constantly locate open shots for himself or his teammates, making him a formidable attacking force. Luka is still getting better at the age of 25, which is undoubtedly a frightening prospect for opponents. Luka also has a way of making things happen even when Doncic doesn't have an open shot. His "Luka Magic," which is his ability to leave spectators in disbelief after making an unlikely shot attempt, was on full display in his trick shot before Thursday's game.

Luka Doncic has produced several incredible shots throughout games, and Thursday's game against the Rockets may be another one. As the 2-2 Rockets attempt to shock the 3-1 Mavericks in Dallas, the game is expected to be a close one. Although the Mavs anticipate winning, they are aware that the Rockets have a lot of upset potential.
