Before LeBron James broke the NBA's all-time record for most points scored. The pregame routine that LeBron James established will always be linked to him. The time for nail-biting was ended, and James went to chalk up at the scorer's table. LeBron James made his eagerly awaited NBA debut against the Sacramento Kings on October 29, 2003, twenty years ago to the day. Four months after graduating from high school, James was selected first overall by his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers. His final stats of 25 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals set the stage for one of the NBA's greatest careers, if not the greatest, ever.

Under the limelight of national television, the No. 1 overall draft pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers scored 25 points, nine assists, six rebounds, and four steals in 42 minutes on October 29, 2003. However, his Cavaliers lost 106-92 on the road to the Sacramento Kings, who were enjoying a lengthy run of postseason success, proving that James couldn't do everything by himself.

Over the span of 20 years, LeBron exceeded those predictions despite the tremendous pressure and expectations that were placed on him when he made his NBA debut. He led an unlikely Cavaliers team to the 2007 NBA Finals during his initial seven-year tenure with the franchise, despite the fact that he did not win a championship during that time.

Over the 20 years time LeBron James went on to become one of the best NBA Player in the history. However during the Paris Olympics 2024 LeBron James won gold medal with Team USA. This Olympic marked his third gold medal with USA team. Currently he became the first player in NBA to play with his son in same team with Los Angeles Lakers.
