NBA fined San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama $25,000 for tossing a ball into the stands

San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama's celebration of tossing of basketball into the stands proved expensive as on Sunday NBA fined home for $25,000. The incident took place on Friday as the San Antonio Spurs won the game against the New York Knicks in overtime by 130-126. Victor Wembanyama was fined $2,000 for a technical foul as he was bouncing the ball over his head in anger previously.

On the game's last play, Victor Wembanyama stole a long pass, wrapped his arms around the ball, high-fived a courtside spectator, and hurled the ball a few rows into the crowd. San Antonio Spurs placed in 15th position of the Western Conference
