"Just woke up from having a dream," LeBron James tweeted. "I was playing for Duke for Coach K inside Cameron Indoor Satdium! It was INSANE in there. Told Coach K it was an homor to suit up for him and he said same thing back to me. He's such a Legend! Then..."

LeBron James was, predictably, intensively solicited by a number of prestigious universities at the time of his high school graduation. In an unsuccessful attempt to persuade the phenomenon to enroll in school rather to declare for the NFL draft, Krzyzewski and Duke were among the several colleges.
LeBron James was first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft
However, James ultimately ended up being selected first overall in the 2003 NBA Draft. The class, which is currently considered to be one of the greatest in history, included players like Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, Chris Kaman, Carmelo Anthony, and David West.
James obviously made the correct choice, but it seems like he still considers what it would be like to play for Krzyzewski frequently. But on several occasions, he has stated that Ohio State would have been his preferred choice. Jim O'Brien was the head coach of the Buckeyes at the time; however, he would be famously sacked in 2004 and Thad Matta took his position.
