Domantas Sabonis' double-doubles help Sacramento Kings to beat LA Clippers by 109-95

With a remarkable performance from Domantas Sabonis hosts Sacramento Kings beat Los Angeles Clippers by 109-95. Sabonis displayed his amazing skills and match-winning abilities by scoring 22 points. He also extended his NBA record of double-doubles to 22 games as he scored 20 rebounds too. Notably, he failed to complete another triple-double as he scored 9 assists in the game.

Sabonis' most dominant performance came in the paint as the hosts outplayed LA Clippers by 46-30 points and 20-4 in second-chance points. Notably, this win for the Kings has now made the Western Conference more interesting as both the Kings and Phoenix Suns are tied for seventh position.

Despite the loss, the LA Clippers stand in the fourth position as they are two games ahead of the sixth-seeded New Orleans Pelicans and three games ahead of Suns and Kings. They will need to be back to their winning ways to secure fourth position and home advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Davion Mitchell continues to impress! 

Sacramento Kings star Davion Mitchell continued to impress with his cameos. In the first half of the game, he scored 14 points including four three-pointers. His amazing performance helped the hosts to set the tone of the game. However, after the first half Mitchell failed to score a single point but Sacramento continued to build up the momentum as they outplayed LA Clippers by 35-19 in 3rd quarter. 

Russel Westbrook became the man of the night as he scored an impressive 20 points. Apart from him Paul George (18 points), Norman Powell (17 points) and a double-double performance from Ivica Zubaic (10 points and 11 rebounds) also were the highlights for the visitors. 

With this victory, the Sacramento Kings continued their race for playoffs as they sent a message to the Western Conference about their dominance. Meanwhile, the LA Clippers will be looking to get back on track soon as the race intensifies in the Western Conference.
