In the game against the New Orleans Pelicans De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings was eager to score points to get his team on the winning side eventually, they had to suffer a loss as New Orleans Pelicans won over the Sacramento Kings by 135-123.

According to The Athletic after the postgame on Thursday De’Aaron Fox stated, “I’m OK. It’s not like the one earlier. So, I’ll be fine.”

Fox injured his ankle early in the season and missed several games. According to him, the twist was not as bad, and he expects to be on the court when they face the Phoenix Suns on Friday night. In their last nine games, the Sacramento Kings have been able to win nine games and lost six games. On Thursday night they face New Orleans Pelicans who have already beaten them four times in the ongoing NBA season 2023/24. 

In the following match Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum both scored 31 points. While for the Sacramento Kings De’Aaron scored 33 points. His teammate Harrison Barnes scored 22 points. As Sacramento Kings lost the game Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers are in a spot to get in playoffs position. On Thursday night Golden State Warriors face Portland Trail Blazers.

In that following game, the Golden State Warriors gave rest to Draymond Green and Klay Thompson but were able to win the match against the Portland Trail Blazers by 100-92. Both Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors have won 45 matches and lost 35 matches this season. 

Qualification scenario for playoffs position  

For Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors Friday night is important as if Sacramento Kings defeats Phoenix Suns, they will confirm their spot for playoffs position. But if Phoenix Suns win over Sacramento Kings Golden State Warriors will get over eight position and Sacramento Kings will finish at night position.

For the Los Angeles Lakers to finish in eighth position and to qualify for playoffs, they have to win their last two games and hope the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings lose their games respectively.
